What does rendering gameplay footage achieve?

What does rendering do to a gameplay footage, does it make it more HD? Presuming that the recording software saves it in a youtube friendly format? It doesn't do anything to gameplay footage. Rendering is basically exporting and it's in that process that conversions can take place based on settings you provide to the rendering/exporting and editing software.

I used to record in 720p in my 1080p monitor, and it used to be blurry. Was recording minecraft, and i really want an optimum quality video

You need to check your bit rates & recording software. You then need to check the settings on your editing software when exporting. Recording in 720P when playing at 1080P resolutions isn't a problem most of the time but it depends on the recorder and your PC specs, it is having to convert an image being displayed at 1 resolution, down to another resolution at the same time the game is being played. Nvidia ShadowPlay doesn't have a problem doing this.[DOUBLEPOST=1433600642,1433600590][/DOUBLEPOST]To put more simply, rendering won't help the blurry video, if it's recorded blurry it will be blurry when you render and export it. You need to fix the issue at the recording level first.
