I use my Canon iso 1100 DSLR. I use it because I am a photographer and this is the best camera I have as it can stand on a tripod and it does that blury background effect. I have a tape camera that I got 7 years ago, when I was 10, but it's old and the tapes are expensive to buy and it had bad resolution.
for sound, I record myself with my headset, I don't really have professional equipment and I am NOT really planning to buying a 100 pound camera because that's just expensive and I am not getting paid to make my videos.
