What Do You Use To Record Gameplay?

Im currently using the Elgato Game Capture purely it can record the game play at 720p or 1080p while streaming to YouTube/Twitch

If you have an NVIDIA 650 or upwards graphics card in your PC, you can use the ShadowPlay feature that's built into the card to capture your gameplay footage. That's what I use for my PC game capture.

Recording we use Action! It cost about $50 for commercial use copy. However, it has been the greatest thing we have ever used. We were surprised about how great of the quality is. Wish we had better editing software though Adobe Premiere Elements 8.0 isn't cutting it. Hoping to save up for Sony Vegas since that is what everyone recommends for editing videos and couldn't disagree.

I Still use FRAPS, looking for alternatives, but banicam and dxtory isin't really working for me, I ue FRAPS to record and then I just render with sony vegas pro :)

I use fraps. It is amazing. BUT, as others may have already said, they are HUGE files if you are playing graphics heavy games, or longer records. You can compress them, or have a large storage space for them(you can choose where fraps records to for example i have a 2 tb hard drive in D drive but a tiny 150gb C drive

Unrelated sorta but does anyone have an idea of how to make Frap file sizes smaller. I recorded a 25 minute video of lego marvel superheroes and it was like 20gb
