What do YOU use to livestream?

I prefer OBS.

I use it for more than just livestreaming though.

I've used xsplit, the biggies for me why I use OBS now are listed below :p

  • Less of a resource piggy
  • Runs in 64-bit mode
  • Saves in MP4, rather than FLV, which makes it easier to edit in vegas later. You have to know how to switch containers from FLV to MP4 if you want to edit xsplit flv files in sony vegas.
  • No sign in required
  • Free :)
To each their own.
 
I've used Xsplit and i liked it but ima try OBS one day. My friend recommended it and he preferred it over Xpslit.
Their both free so you could just download both and try :)
