I voted commenting on other channels as I do it the most.
YTtalk oddly doesn't translate into many views, considering this is our "target audience" and we offer a great service for free (adfree at that) ... listen to me crying inside:crying:
Reddit is decent, Facebook is decent, Twitter is terrible (people will disagree with me), SoundCloud is awesome, but yeah.. I would say commenting on other videos.. Get a lucky good top comment and you can easily have a couple hundred people on your channel.

Same. I Comment too.
 
I do not like spaming so I just keep being active on yttalk and when I help people out they come to check out my channel and they usaly like it :).
