What do you think of dislikes?

I dislike all dislikes.. I really thing if you click dislike or even like that you are made to leave a comment and we see who liked or disliked your video and why.
 
I guess if you would really require text to be entered with a dislike or like you would get 99% engagement reduction and 99% crappy text on the 1% engagement left.

I like that idea. In fact, make likes and dislikes solely part of the comment system. But I'm sure that would affect the Google+ stuff. Also it would be difficult to impossible to anonymize.

This is really the truth, so honestly getting this type of system implemented would only work against the original idea behind it.

Hey sorry about the dislike.. but remember that means someone watched your video.. Try to think of it that way.. Tell Joey and Chandler I said hello... I have nothing to say to Ross and he knows why...
 
I just ignore them. I have very little dislikes on my videos. Only one video have more dislikes than likes. I made video "p**n in GTA5" of course I didn't put any real p**n in video because im not jerk, but i have 69 likes and over 100 dislikes. I found that very funny if you ask me, cuz people who are searching for that stuff on youtube isn't normal -.-' That was just "prank" video to see how much people will acctualy search for that type. AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT ON YOUTUBE YOU WILL NOT FIND THAT STUFF :D

Well i think they are useless.
Like says you did something right. Whih is fine cause you wont need to search for the thing you did right cause you already did it right BUT when sb dislikes he wont leave a commend and u know you did some wrong but u dunt know what = total confusion. Its the same when sb just writes : Your video is s**t.
 
I don't mind them. At first when I got one I wanted to know why, but then again, I know what I need to do to improve my videos.

I'm far too OCD about videos and such.
