What do you think about my channel idea?

Just keep in mind that you're not allowed to directly ask people to subscribe for the giveaway, you can set a milestone like at 500 subs I'll do a giveaway or whatever, but asking people to subscribe for a giveaway is against the YouTube ToS.[DOUBLEPOST=1411869836,1411869694][/DOUBLEPOST]It's good to see that you want to do it for the audience despite the finances but from a business perspective you could bankrupt the channel (or the budget you allocated for it) pretty easily, or worse yourself if you go too far. You probably won't start to see a profit until around 100k subs with roughly 10-20k views per video assuming they're monetised views.

Ofcourse I will not say "500 subs and I will give it away" but my thought was to actually travel the world and film it to meet the subscribers. Hehe I know it's really stupid but you can say everything here ;), Just imagine that you travel alot of places in the world and also meeting your audience hehe it can be fun to see the world :P It's a good dream to just travel and see as many places as you can and on the way film it and also meeting new people (your audience mainly hehe)

This is a novel idea, mostly because the majority of Youtubers who have found success, tend to forget WHY they found success. The majority of successful Youtubers only go out of their way to meet other Youtubers, which is nothing more than cross promoting between two audiences for mutual growth, which is a great growth technique... But definitely by design and certainly not selfless in nature. Now, the fact that you seem selfless in intent goes along way in projecting your success, as the audience can and will see your authenticity.

I like the idea of traveling to film "on-location", partly because I know that the shock and awww of the item recipient will generate that spark needed for social sharing. You can be like the electronics and tech version of
Ed McMahon in the Publisher's Clearinghouse! lol.. Either way, you could always start small. There are plenty of cheap-ticket tech that you can test.. Maybe hit-up KickStarter and test & review kickstarter products as they are delivered. either way... Good Luck!
