what do you guys think about reddit?

Me myself have never tried because apparently I don't post a lot on there idk. that's what it tells me. Hmmm I don't know I don't think it would be a bad thing, but I know its a very different world on reddit (:

I always use Reddit as a way to promote my videos, I feel like it helps pretty well. Most of the times I just get views (which I don't mind, any exposure is great) but I've never gotten a bad comment or dislike from sharing a video on there

Usually it's ok like I'll get some extra views sometimes I get like 40 some vids get 2k+ but the reactions can be awesome to horrible. My latest vid I shared to Reddit is at 2k views but it's getting very negative response from the Reddit community.... like mostly disliked and bad comments. Use sparingly and only with content that you think will help somebody out or contribute to a conversation.

Reddit is a big place, I guess it all depends on what sub reddits you post in.

If you just turn up in a sub Reddit, ask people to check your video and sub, and then just leave, you will get negative fed back no mater how great your video is, there are some sub reddits that are aimed at small YouTube channels to post videos for feed back, as long as you give feed back too.

Look around before you post, find the right sub reddits for you and you will soon find the places to post (some sub reddits may have a day of the week for you to post etc!)

Reddit is good if you post there correctly... the community is picky. I wouldn't post a vlog to r/videos because that subreddit is for quick and funny clips. You have to find the right area.

I use reddit all the time the key is to use the right subreddits where people will actually be interested in your video. Also be respectful and dont spam your links. I've gotten some dislikes but way more likes and views and most my subs are from there.
