im not sure I should be talking about this in this forum, but I am curious to know if anyone has done fiverr. If you dont know, than dont worry about it. If you do know, how do you feel about it, and does it help you on youtube?
 
It's a great place to find services. I always use this for many things from profile pictures to intros.
 
I have probably put $1000 into various Fiverr gigs over the past two years or so for various projects. I love it, very easy to use and theres plenty of different things you can get from it. I'm using Fiverr heavily for my new YouTube channel.

A word of the wise though, the SEO gigs on there usually harm you more than anything else.
 
Since I own a business, it can be a great source of cheap labor. As a writer, F that site and people who come to me saying "I can just get this for $5 on Fiverr." hahaha so I'm torn, basically.
 
I have used fiverr for fancy transitions, logo, banner, some thumbnails because I have neither the skill or software.

The guy who did my channel art was really helpful and pointed me in the direction of how to get more people coming towards my channel. It worked. I have a little following on tumblr, kind of.

Don't trust any SEO type things.

You meet some good people on there who are ready to put the work in. And it's $5! You can't really go wrong with that.

So overall I would say that it is pretty good. And there is some useful stuff there.
 
I think it's pretty cool actually, there is always a wide variety of services you could get for cheap. I think i might start doing it eventually, probably a mixing/mastering service for music.
