What do you feel is the hardest subscriber milestone?

Definatley the first 100 - typically by then you have an idea of the videos you will make - for me personally i believe 500 subs is another landmark which is difficult then 1k once you get through those 3 milestones others will follow easier (i hope)

I'm really struggling to get to 500 atm... 100 wasn't anywhere near as bad as i thought!i don't imagine a million is actually that hard say you go from 1K to 1M it'll take forever but obviously your sub speed will increase as you get more popular! so yeah for me 500 has really taken it's toll...

I thinks 1000 subs. A difficult task for small channels like mine, but not impossible :) I am slowly moving towards it. I just need 985 subs more to reach this Milestone.
 
This first 100 definitely seems to be the hardest to try and get any kind of momentum going. People outside of your family are the hardest to convince to watch your content.
 
100,000 subscribers.
Those that pass that mark are usually set for life and keep growing.
People that fail to reach 100,000 usually will never be able to do youtube for a living.

Everyone is saying 100 subscribers but anyone can reach 100 subscribers eventually. 100,000 subscribers is make or break. Either you make it or you don't. Most people will never make it that far.
 
I struggle so hard to pass 100 subs. The growth for me isn't the fastest, but I won't give up, haha. Hopefully I can break that 100 subs barrier.
 
100 has proved the most difficult for me. However that is the only real milestone that I have managed to pass so far.

I know what you mean. I'm struggling to get there ATM just sitting below 300. Everyone says the first 100 is the hardest so I though something magical would happen when i got there. But no. You still have to keep working hard on promoting your channel to get noticed.
