What do you do when you upload to Youtube?

I use Movie Maker so:

  1. Finish video
  2. Upload to YouTube
  3. Write down name
  4. dddddd for Description and Tag for now
  5. Select private
  6. Ensure 1080 quality
  7. Copy/paste description from my notepad that was made prior
  8. Annotations at the end of video
  9. Turn public

^^
I mean with power tagging given my video's good tags lol.

Shows are very powerful to increase your video SEO. You can set your video's into episodes and seasons and if someone likes a show they can subscribe to it! Show are like playlists but much more advanced. You'll need to be a full partner to have access to shows.

If the video contains any form of violence, nudity, sex ect you can give it a partner rating(you can only do this if you add video into shows or movies).

1.upload video
2.give it a title
3.add a custom image
4.add my usaul description
5.add tags
6.schedule the video for about 9am
7.once uploaded add to relavent forums

1. Upload video as public
(while uploading, finish desc. & custom thumbnail)
2. Add annotations
3. Like it :D

You have a great channel, by the way.

8. Add one or two annotations (although I'm not sure how much impact these have. I have a 0.5% click through rate on them)

I also put the annotation links in the description. This way, for those people on mobile devices where the annotations aren't clickable, at least the links are available in the description.

What do you do when you upload to Youtube? Maybe we can share different techniques.

1. Set the video to private
2. Upload customised thumbnail
3. Add video to playlists
4. Amend the default description I have to include the script of my video (I voiceover all my videos so it's not a chore to do this).
5. Add a few more specific tags to the defaults ones I have for whatever video series I'm doing.
6. When the video has uploaded, like the video.
7. Attach my script to the CC (captions)
8. Add one or two annotations (although I'm not sure how much impact these have. I have a 0.5% click through rate on them)
9. Set the video public (how long should I wait to make sure all the extra things, like tags/description/CC add to the video?)
10. Share the video on targeted forums, my facebook page, twitter, tumbler.

11. Put in the video as a response to the previous one in the series

1) I click upload, put minimal important info in (where I got my music so I don't get a copyright hit), then go to sleep.
2) I wake up and make sure it uploaded, then I add my description, tags, and set everything up.
3) I share with the people I know who will like it first
4) Wait for feedback
5) Eventually when I'm bored I play with SEO to try to get my video to the top of searches
6) Wait for it to go viral.... Still hasn't happened

I heard of that to. I think its true and if its not you might as well not take the risk. But it would make sense for my part on why my subscribers have not been active. Thank god i found out about Yttalk.
