What do you do to stay unique?

Hey guys. YouTube has probably done it all, but there's nothing wrong with trying to spice things up. Do you try to stay unique or don't you mind going with the flow? Making new series, implementing new graphics, things like that.

Recently I made sure to have variety, so Top 10s, Facts and now the Origins of. I just finished making "The origins of Alcohol" for example, and no doubt this has been done before, its still an interesting topic im sure many people will enjoy. SO, what do you do to stay unique?

Sometimes I think going with the flow is the best way to go forward nowadays. It's almost like a bandwagon, once you hop on the hot topics, then you'll lift off. For my gaming channel (this one) I try not to play Minecraft. Because I don't find the game fun or different in any way. so I play games I want. :)

I'm probably one of the the first if not the first around my region providing my type of content so my channel in nature is already unique.
Even if there were people doing this as a side series on their channels i'm still probably the only one doing this seriously, which already makes me the one to subscribe to if they're looking for the type of content I provide. :D

Well, I think my channel is pretty unique. There are channels that do this as public pranks, but I think my videos are more genuine, and they add weirdness to the mix. I'm trying to get more creative though. I have some ideas, but they will be hard to pull off, I need to be ready to film at the right moment.

I try to play random short games and not just record, play and upload that. It's my goal now to edit my videos A LOT with more extra effects and spend a lot more time editing than I did before! Hope that works out well!

It's very difficult to have ideas for vlogs that haven't been done before, so the thing I do to make my videos unique is to try and make them as true to my personality as possible.

I always try not to make the standard kind of videos that you see on YouTube like challenges, tags, types of people, things that x do that y like/hate or videos that will only be relevant for 2 weeks - a month (The Dress, Don't Judge Challenge etc)

Most videos are just based on random moments that happened to me and I like to expand those ideas and add a little randomness here and there to make the video entertaining.

Well, I am being myself in every video. Its important to stay authentic and for me its important that people dont think Im fake.
I dont use a special technique while doing my videos. I dont have a plan, usually I just start talking and end up somewhere. And well its working out somehow :)
