What do you do everyday for your channel?

Rachael

I Love YTtalk
Whether that's just commenting on other people's channels, spreading your links, brainstorming new ideas, what do you do? Something that you would do everyday, so don't say "film" if you don't do it everyday.

I'm usually either editing a new video or promoting my channel! I usually tend to explore multiple videos a day. I usually like to see the different talents around youtube. So I suppose inspiration, research, and expansion!

I'm not that big on direct promoting and we don't film everyday - really, posting on yttalk is the only thing I do every day. It's indirect promoting I suppose - we get most of our subs from here.

I try to write down at least one idea a day, the other parts of my channel are things I do regularly but they're not usually daily activites. I also check the analytics to see how my channel's performing and if I have any comments I'll acknowledge those too.

There isn't a single day where I don't think about YouTube or my fans. I'm constantly thinking of future video possibilities and fun new things to bring to the table, whilst still keeping up with my bidaily upload schedule.

If im not promoting I am watching and looking for new things to bring into future videos, I like to see if I can plan ahead.

I keep an eye on the analytics to see if there are any new sites that shared a video resulting in a lot of views. I follow up on these by seeing if there's a way to push more videos to them. I've find quite a few sites that will get me at least a thousand views per video I share if not more. I have found a few that seem more picky, but when they do share the results are pretty awesome. I have these stats saved because this was one of the better spikes I've ever had since real time analytics came out. I've been pretty busy lately so I don't have as much time to experiment... A big part of my YouTube experience is finding places to share, I guess that's my Marketing degree showing its head.

I watch around youtube for inspiration and to get ideas. Most times things that have no relation whatsoever to what I do in my videos. I just like being motivated by inspirational videos or people who are happy with where they are currently :)

Check the stats and for new comments - fortunately the notifications for new comments are coming directly on my phone.
