I have one and find its hard to find that find that fine line between what I find fun and what people find entertaining. So what do you guys look for in a Gaming Channel. Personally I look for:

-Quality
-Humour
-Good Commentating Voice
-Enjoyable Gameplay

I usually look for games in gaming channels. That usually works out well.[DOUBLEPOST=1389418628,1389418484][/DOUBLEPOST]Buuuut on a serious note...

What most people are looking for in a gaming channel is someone they would want to play a video game with.

Basically your goal as a gamer would be to make me go "Ha man I think it would be so much fun to play a game with him" If you can get me to want to play a game with you, I will watch your videos happily. Because that's basically the same thing.

I never really watched a lot of gaming channels, and when I did it was seananners playing mine craft. I'd say personality was the main appeal for me.

For me it's all about sense of humour and delivery. Gameplay doesn't matter if it fits their character and the context of their commentary.

If you are just going to talk about every little detail happening, it won't work very well. What you want is to put your own twist on it, add in your personality to it, maybe give names to characters or objects that can be like a companion, or do an edited style in a sort of "highlights" way. Or if you want to take the more informative approach, do your research and become a game reviewer. Try out different techniques and decide what suits you the best. Make sure you give them something to remember and want to come back for.

what really makes me sad is that i know i dont got a good voice for anything video like. so its bothers me a great deal that people are stuck up and snobby and only watch people with "good voices"... its like being sexist or racist.

Nah that's kind of a lie. Unless you sound like a 10 year old (which you don't btw), viewers don't care that much about how you sound. (if you have a deep radio voice like markiplier though... it does help ha ha) But that's not what makes a youtuber. You just gotta work with what you got. There will always be someone who likes what you do, and more that don't like what you do. So its easier to just focus on what you like to do. It also works out better that way. People want to follow a leader, so making yourself one will get you followers.
