What computer / rig do YOU use for editing and rendering?

Just out of curiosity, I wanted to know what you guys were sporting. I'm currently using a laptop with an A10-5745M processor in it, but I'm hoping to move to a custom rig with an i7-6700k in it (big jump, I know).

If you aren't sure what kind of specs your computer uses, just give some general details about it!
Thanks for your time!

My time has come
Time to post my AMAZING COMPUTER SPECS

With the behemoth that is Intel(R) Core(TM) i3 cpu
and the great speed that is 2.53 GHz
Including a HUGE amount of 4 gigs of ram

MY COMPUTER IS AMAZING.

.....

I need to save up and get a new setup.

"My time has come" had me cracking up like no other hahaha.
Those specs aren't tooo bad; let's agree it could be a lot worse. How old is your computer?
My laptop's not that old but I've saved up around $1500 to build my own setup! I'm sure that you could manage the same thing, in time!

Hm. I think I got it around 08 and even then it only cost me about 75 dollars.

Man it's hell on earth. I can barely play games that came out in 06.

I'll probably save up after the move. So I have at least half a year left with this ugly thing.

Probably give it to some homeless guy or something to make his day.

Well, it's served its purpose, right?

What kind of computer would you go for when you get a new one?

Worst Dell I've ever owned. Gotta STOP buying Dell products - they always dissapoint.

I'm running on a Dual Core i7 2560QM Processor 2.66 GHz Clock Speed
Accompanied by 250GBHDD of Storage (goes QUICK when you're a video maker... my god!)
And a measly 8GB RAM.

I need a mac for a better graphics card.

We are in pretty much the same boat man.
I feel your pain.

Honestly, anything that could handle premiere after about five minutes into a project lol.

Dude, Mac graphics cards are s**t! Only the top end models have em. Get a laptop with a 970M or a 870M and you'll be happy as larry. Even better, get an SLi laptop!

I have an Asus Laptop with the latest i7 chip, 8 Gb of Ram and a Nvidia 820 graphics card. Currently running Windows 10.
I use Cyberlink Power Director 13 Ultimate and occasionally Windows Movie Maker.

Does the Job.

I got a custom rig that I built myself about three years ago... My screen is five years old though and is beginning to flicker so I'll need to replace that soon. I'd like to update, but it's hard to justify the cost.
