I use a Samsung NX Mini. It was the cheapest camera I could find with the features I wanted. My video quality seems pretty good and I love the self shot flip up screen so you can see yourself when vlogging. I've used it to capture time lapses and fast motorcycle footage with no problems so far. Sometimes the focus goes weird but usually corrects itself quickly and I which it had a better zoom, but I'd have to buy a different lens. Overall I love it, great for starting YouTubers on a budget and with no real idea what your doing.

I use my ipod and a cannon vixia hf r600. Both shoot in HD and that works well enough for me.

I bought a Panasonic GH4 in July with a basic lens. I love it. I'm still learning how it works, but I'm usually pretty happy with the video quality. I'd like to get a few more lenses for it.

Bought myself a Canon T4i with the 3 kit lenses from craigslist two weeks ago and been using it since. Got a great deal for it and its been working great! (Bought it for $550, goes for ~$1200 for new ones)
