When I need a small thing on the go I use a Canon Vixia HF200 which doesn't focus right all the time because I dropped it. Otherwise, when I'm filming a bigger project or a vlog I use the Canon XA20.
Here's a picture of it: instagram.com/p/sLVE7LuuxE/
It goes down to f1.8 which is nice but the depth of field at 1.5-2ft zoomed out isn't as good as you can get from a comparable DSLR I feel. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

I wish that form factor never died! It just made so much sense. I have the Webbie which was the first incarnation of that camera. It's terrible and it got cancelled after 7 or so months when they redesigned it and renamed it Bloggie. By that time the vlogging cams were on their way out. Best thing about it was the rotatable lens and the battery life seems to last forever. However everything else sucked. Video compression was bad, and low light performance didn't exist, audio wasn't too great and had a lot of handling noise, and the lens wasn't really wide enough for selfie video. The screen was too damn small too. If they only made some more effort to improve it they would have had something that would have lasted a long time.I started with a sony bloggie touch (Like before I wanted to even upload, More so for practice)
