What are your planning processes?

I usually set deadlines for myself. I should have an idea by a certain day, write and edit by another, and film and upload by Sunday. I start with a list of ideas and then write everything out because I would forget everything otherwise.Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to stay on one subject. If I have another idea while I'm filming, I just throw it in and hope for the best.

Wow! That sounds incredibly organised and orderly unlike me who just ends up as a chaotic mess by the time I sit down to edit!!
It sounds like you really put thought and care into your videos and I hope you love making them too! Goodluck :)

Ahh that sounds cool, i wish i could just do un-planned videos! How is it doing time-lapse videos? They sound incredible i'll definitely take a look :)
Time lapse videos can be cool or disappointing. The whole thing is that it takes a long time to do, so you can wait for hours to have a s****y video. I think I'm going to do a year long timelapse starting today of my palm tree growing because my damn dogs "trimmed" one of them down to almost no palms. Take a look at mine, I did some with my iPhone, some with a Pentax Optio WG1, and a couple with my GoPro. The iPhone app is $1 and works pretty good.

Yeah I can imagine! But it must be pretty rewarding when you capture a good time lapse! I've had a look and I really like some of them :) and I will definitely have to check out the iPhone app! :)

My favorite one I did on the iPhone is probably the Christmas tree decorating video. The app I used is called iMotion HD

I usually just think of an idea randomly, and then write it down along with the others. Then, when it's time to record a video, I just pick which ever idea/topic I'm liking more that day. My ideas usually get thought up when I'm in the shower, so I have to make sure I write them down as soon as I get out, or I might forget. :P
