Well done! Actually for my channel, I started it out with the concept of having all the videos to be requested by people to ask me to try out stuff for them but I don't get as many responses.

how did you get your viewer to be engaged? Do you ask them right at the beginning of the video?

I announced a while ago that I did the new idea of the Friday Fanday and in what ways they could do the request. Every Friday Fanday video I use the description to explain this is a Fan Request and the viewer can requests songs too

I hope it works out for you . I said some posts ago that we are different channels, it could work better for one than other . But I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't work for you.

Other benefit is that there's more activity on your video/channel. People are willing to comment and conversations could start beginning.
