What are your expectations

Considering my active audience has been decreasing over the months, I have no aspirations for YouTube. If I did, I would have quit by now. Instead, I just make videos for my purposes, and the few people who actually watch and interact, and that's good enough for me.

If you want an audience I think you need to be a bit more "mainstream" as far as youtube goes. I'm not saying selling out, but upping your video quality. Like adding thumbnails, maybe a short little intro, a new back drop, and possibly a better quality camera that takes up the entire screen.

By no means am I saying that your topics are bad, but that youtube counts on presentation.

You shouldn't stop dude, just revamp what you already have.

When I am getting over 50,000 views per video because that's how many people FOLLOW ME. Not how many are SUBBED, but how many continue to want to watch me, I will consider my channel a success, and it's all just extra icing on the cake after that. But ummm.... we're getting like 100 now so... it might be a minute... lol

True. Looking ahead to the future and trying to figure it all out will eventually drive you insane and scare you off.
well yeah that's why I just upload. And enjoy my subs, and try to be entertaining. I don't really compare stats, it can make your heart soar or sink and really you should just make the best content you enjoy.

Completely agreed. Stats are pointless (at least to me). Because even if they seem exceptional and I'm still only getting 100 views on one of my videos, I don't care how good they are.

And for me it's like, I want FOLLOWERS. People who aren't trying to watch me occassionally cause they're kinda interested, no I want people to be excited when they see me upload, so like, for me comments is pretty much everything. I pretty much measure my success by them.

My end goal is thousand subs and numerous views, it is nothing major in youtube terms but its just enough to interact and entertain people!
I'd be happy with 1000 views per video, but if we're talking like, "I have acheived my dream" that would be like 50,000 views per vid. It's cool you have such reachable goals though.

Symphonious7 - People just don't get it. The true following seems to be in the video views/comments themselves (And yeah I hear you on the comments part. I'm addicted to watching that little icon pop up that tells me I have a new one), and not so much in the subscription box. So many channels with thousands of subs, but only a few video views- in comparison, that is.

-Tenacious- Like I said before "We don't fail because with aim too high and miss our goal, but because we aim too low and hit it".

I am telling you... aim higher than a thousand. Much higher. You'll be thankful when you get 1,000, but I can ASSURE you, it is not as many as you think.... at all.
