What are you trying to achieve?

What is your 'End-goal' for YouTube?

Mine, honestly is to become a mainstream actor. But also keeping a connection with my viewers on YouTube, so they know that although I went professional, I am still the same old guy trying to make funny videos.

What are you guys aiming to hopefully achieve in the near future!? :)
Hopefully to get into film editing or graphic designing with big companies like Disney!

Personally I've got into it to try and keep myself sane. I'm currently a stay at home Dad, and not having anything going on for me was destroying me.

Whilst it would be nice to earn money off of youtube, I really don't feel I'm entertaining enough to expect that. However I've been considering writing books since I was a kid, so it might lead to marketing potential in the future if I play my cards right. If in the unlikely event that I become internet famous, I would actually much rather people donated to a conservation charity than to me through patreon or adverts or whatever. I would feel I'm adding something back to the world if I managed to raise a decent total every year for charities - and besides, on a selfish level that would be great publicity for any other business projects I may have on the side.

It will also be great to stick on a CV. Saying you manage a channel with a thousand viewers and having raised 'X' amount for charity might make me seem like a real go-getter (even if it is a total lie where everyday jobs are concerned, lol.)

I think my 'end goal' or definition of success would be value added... the more people come back and say thank you,

I honestly don't know what I want to achieve, I just love making youtube videos, it's a great creative outlet (even though my videos are basic af I still love editing them///)

I really wish I could do it fulltime, because it's my passion.
But I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I actually don't want to be successful to the point of doing it full time because my dream is to become an entrepreneur/businessman not somebody who talks about philosophies and ethics and my thoughts all day long.
But about 5k subs would be cool, so I can make some limited amount of "pocket money" and have enough viewers to fuel a discussion in the comment section.
