WHAT ARE THE MUST HAVES FOR A NEWB ? Lighting sound ect.

like others mentioned yetti or snowball, decent camera which you probably have, tripod, lighting and some type of external microphone such as the lavalier sp or some type of shotgun mic, though I've never used the shotgun so maybe others can comment.

Glad I could be of assistance. The Neewer LED lights are fairly cheap to purchase and offer a good, adjustable light source for a shoot. If you buy a few with stands you can get a semi-professional lighting solution for not that much cash.
If you are really strapped for cash, you can use regular lamps - just ensure the lightbulbs are all the same colour temperature. Aim for around 5 - 7k kelvin for the temperature and you shouldn't go wrong.

Hi, here's my setup:
Camera: Canon 70D
Lighting: 3 Flood lights from Home Depot/Lowes with clamps on them so I can mount them in various spots
Also have a ceiling fan that I sit under with Soft White Light Bulbs in them

I don't have any lighting recommendations because I don't show my face, but I do know that the Blue Snowball works really well! I use it right now, but I am getting a new mic which will hopefully be an upgrade... ANYWAYS! I will be looking for your channel to see what you do! Good luck!
