What are the Community's thoughts on the YouTube Heroes program?

Is it as big of a deal as everyone is thinking? Or are people just overacting? What are your thoughts?

I'm personally worried that users are going to abuse this feature, flagging videos that don't need to be flagged because they have a personal issue with them.
