What are some Tips to get Subs?

Critique yourself, until you're 100% satisfied with what you're putting out and think it's as good as you can do (which should never happen and it might drive you insane ) you'll keep trying, thus making better and better content. As you do this people will find you. It make take months, but they'll find you! That's why so many people quit in the first month or so. Yeah, you do now. New channels must meet the 500 subscriber requirement to be able to have a "Vanity" URL.

People who had them before this requirement won't lose their current URL, unless they create a new channel.

Okay some feedback.

Presentation and everything is all good, top notch so don't worry about that. Same with your thumbnails and how everything is split into playlists. All good!

Content in your videos from a film quality stand point is good. The thing I noticed straight away though is that your microphone isn't the best so try using some way of cleaning up the audio to make it cleaner and so on. Commentary is good but I felt like there were some random pauses and silences when you were playing so maybe turn game music up or talk more and so on.

Anyways, since you started this month I wouldn't worry about a low subscriber number at all. You'll gain more by being active on the internet and so on, just keep working at it

I use astro A40s as a microphone Idk why they sound like that. I also own a Blue Snowball but it picks up my mechanical keyboard clicking so I don't use it. I looked up settings and I can't find anything to fix it. It only sounds like that in recordings my friends say my mic sounds fine inside of curse or what ever voice program we are using.

You can't think your good, otherwise you'll never improve.

You have to be your own worst critic in order to make your videos better and better. Okay?

I'm a giant critic with my stuff I rewatch the video like 50 times making sure its perfect. I am never satisfied with my work haha.

what do you mean by 500 subs for custom url? you mean on your youtube account? u don't need 500 subs to have a custom url. unless i'm misunderstanding you lol.

As for subs I would say consistently posting videos i guess. that's def the hardest part. Also maybe comment on other youtube channels but not spam/promote yourself. That is a good way for people to "discover" your channel.

I made this youtube account and it wouldn't let me have a custom url in fact this is the message it gave me.

To get a custom URL for your channel, your account needs to be in good standing and meet a few other requirements:

• 500 or more subscribers
• Channels is at least 30 days old
• Channel has uploaded a photo for the channel icon
• Channel has uploaded channel art

You can also qualify for a custom URL by linking and veryfing your official webpage with your channel or +Page.

In 6 months I had over 400 subscribers and 16,000 views by tearing apart each video, and making the next one better.

A graphic is out of place? I fix it in the next. Commentary started slow? Fixed it in the next.

I will always improve with the next video I feel like we have already improved in some of our upcoming videos which aren't even released yet! And I won't give up. I know a lot of people quit because they don't get noticed or it takes a really long time. But I have wanted to make content for youtube since i was 16 and now I'm 21 and have the time to really do it. Makes it a lot easier making content with a friend who has the same drive as I do as well.
