What am I doing wrong on Twitter?

Like many YouTubers, I use Twitter to promote new content. I reached 500 followers three years ago and have been stuck at that number ever since. My Twitter page is not growing an inch. I talk to people, like, and retweet other people's posts. Nothing is working to expand my Twitter network.

I took at look at other YouTubers in the same niche. Their twitter pages are growing everyday. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

your page is full of retweets and posting your content, try just tweeting random stff, how you feel, something funny etc, thats how you grow

Big Youtubers Twitter following is growing because their channel's growing. You should do hashtags or @'s or something to grow on Twitter.
