What a niche is popular?

Hi guys!
I don't know English pretty well yet so I almost don't watch English-speaking YouTubers.
So I want to ask you about what a niche is a popular now and the near feauture?
I know that YouTube is entertaimnent place. But all who come to YouTube make humor-video so this niche is already crowded.
May be we have something else what is popular on YouTube like humor? May be psychology, self-development or something else?
I know that we must make video about what is interesting for us, but I really want to know general trends.
Thank you.

P.S. If I have a lot of mistakes in my text or I created this thread not where it should have so I'm really sorry.

dogs... and cats... and kicking walls with toothpicks under your toe nails....

Gaming, challenges, 6 second videos, covers, public pranks, "social experiments", pretending to hate on things people like so you get hate comments and millions of views and 'Amazing videos'

I'd have to say comedy videos are the biggest thing, or if you incorporate anything funny into your videos.

Unfortunately for me, I'm not all that funny, but occasionally I like to think my videos are semi-amusing. :)

I'm sorry, but I don't understand it. What does it mean?
Social expriments: Asking strangers in public random questions ordoing random stuff in public, stilting for example.

Pretending to hate something that people like so you get views:
Examples:
Jared Milton
Dillon The Hacker
Sammy the classic Sonic Fan

They pretend rant about things that most people like\hate and their acting is so great that they deserve an Award because everyone actually think they're serious.
Kinda the same stuff Boogie2988 makes but without people knowing that it's just a character that they're playing.

Amazing videos:
Viral videos of things that make you feel happy about humanity and animals.
I kinda made it sound sarcastic, I don't hate those videos, I just find usage of the word 'Amazing' annoying even though it's a good thing.
I just easily get annoyed by words if I keep hearing them over and over. [emoji4]

You are using 'niche' and 'popular' in the same sentence, indicating that you do not know what a niche is.

Comedy and gaming videos are the most commonly watched I believe. In terms of numbers, personal vlogs are the most common but unless you're famous, people won't generally care to watch them. That's why you don't see them often where more than half of YouTube's videos fall into this category.

Just remember, the more saturated the niche, the harder it will be to break into it and get noticed.
