What’s the best quality to film your videos In?

Okay! I record mine in one 180p but it doesn’t let me watch it in that without buffering so it changes to auto 480 so I guess that’s my internet

Yeah, if that is what you originally filmed and rendered the video file at, then that is what YouTube will set the video to. You don't have to do anything. YouTube automatically detects the video settings when you are uploading your file to your channel. As long as you ensure the video output is your desired resolution and frame rate when you render it, YouTube takes care of everything else. :)
 
i record gaming videos are 720 and 1080!! id rather do 1080 but xbox doesn't record ten min clips in 1080 only 720 which is wack to say the least! lol!!
 
1080p30 or bust nowadays. 4K is largely not worth it, and even after watching some of my "lowly" 1080p content on a 60" 4K TV it still looks pretty crisp. Most of the people watching YouTube do so on their phones or tablets. You will not see a difference between 1080p and 4K on a small screen.

I personally record in 1080p60 and render as such too.
