Website or Application for finding HD royalty free images?

Hey! I have recently been playing around with my gaming channel thumbnails and I tend to add an image of a person for example, that fits onto a thumbnail design that is at least 1280x720. But it is really difficult getting good images to use that are high quality and will fit on the design without blurring or pixelating. Does anyone know of any good websites or computer programs that allow you to download high quality royalty free (so I don't get any copyright issues) images?

I could be totally wrong here but, to be honest don't worry if the images are or aren't Royalty free. There are thousands of YouTubers that don't use royalty free images.

I don't use royalty free ones and I've never had any problems

thanks the biggest trouble is getting a GOOD image royalty free or not haha

Bear in mind that royalty-free does not mean free of charge
Photodune or Graphicriver are examples of such websites

Sxc.hu is my personal favourite, make sure to get a licence from the copyright holder if you need to for using their image.
