We were blind - absolute best way to gain subscribers

Technomania

its over 9000!
I found it, the absolute best way to gain subscribers and the answers to that age old question 'be unique and be you'. We start off with the simple mistake that we all had done on our youtube lives (you know you did it), its that blind dream that had us believe that social media, youtube, word of mouth, tv show, so on that might help us gain subscribers. The reality is all that work you did on youtube or social media are for nothing your videos were put on the wrong place and only you were at fault. Now the answer to getting real subscribers, its really simple even a kid has done it, so whats the answer? its being a fan with the fans (mind blown).

The mistakes

Lets start with simple mistakes people do to lose subscribers, the first one starts with monetize your youtube channel. just dont do it that makes you look desperate for money if you know you can't gain a lot of subscribers under a year then its never a good idea to monetize your videos. the only time a monetize video is use is the same time your subscribers think you are worthy of it. Another problem with monetizing too easy is the copyright strakes that will hurt your channel way more than a non-monetize video. Most importantly you don't need fancy equipment to be popular, a rabbit with a simple camera can gain 10 subscribers within a week.

The 2th mistake is randomly adding videos like a mad man. Is true that you can be unique and add random videos but most of the time that would never work. We all know that there will be a video of some for that game, tv show, trick, etc so the best way to not be them is just adding your video for favorite reasons. Youtube will not care if you added 1 minute X 100 video they will not spotlight it unless people like it. One more thing do not just spam your videos on social media or websites, people will know that you are becoming desperate.

Internet is a knowledge of truth but also people use it for lying. Only you can tell who really is lying or telling the truth, even this whole article that you reading could be a lie (its not a lie but an example). People on youtube are basically lying to themselves or on subscribers, thats the worst path to take. Pewdiepie even once said that he "force himself to play games" that make him feel bad only because he was lying to himself and also his fans. There is no reason to force yourselfs to do anything on youtube, there is always another way.

Final mistake too rich too powerful, this one is for the popular people who think they know everything. The worst part to fail is at being too popular on youtube as well as off the internet. Its been proven that people who were once internet icons have lost huge amounts of fans. We all know them heres some examples PSY (gangnam style music), Violentacrez (Reddit's most infamous users), U.S. gymnast McKayla Maroney, Joseph Kony (too bad it was fake) and more. On the examples we see how and why popular people fail to do anything any more this can lead to a movie script or a one way trip to the junkyard.

The Answer

I know you skip the 2 hour long typing i did its o.k (if you didn't thank you) because you're only human and your time is valuable. Now understand that money makes people greedy and that greed leads people to do many things that were unimaginable like creating a youtube channel with bad advice. As i said in the 2th paragraph, your subscribers are the ones that chooses to make you money, not the other way around.
Don't think for a second that you can do anything because one simple mistake can be dangerous, always have a plan, follow the CC rules, follow real life rules (its real) and don't land on jail.

Videos are the central of all this so say your videos are better since we all think our videos are the best. I can't really believe people think for one second that a channel art with intro or outro, thumbnails, and daily videos is the best way. Unfortunately thats not true, people in every part of the world do not care about your fancy art they went to your channel for a fun video not a artist painting. The best way to not mislead people is just doing it yourself, thats right your self even the best art will not help your videos so why even try making it look like a billion dollar art. Look at "inside gaming" there channel art is random because they know people will come back to see what they change on there channel art, on rooster teeth they advertise on the channel art even telling them about the schedule videos, lastly companies change their channel art to the current game (like halo) so this leads us showing that art will not help videos. Its better to upload videos, make videos, and changing them on your own time since people do not force you to do it (unless you on a contract).

The best way to counter loss of subscribers is just to stop acting like a robot, we don't like robots spamming emails, we dont it when robots spam the forums and we truly don't like it when they are used for money. Its never think for a second that people are going to like your videos, if they are not fans of that game, anime, technology, or anything then just don't try since its not in your responsibilty to change peoples minds. Never sound like you are supprime on your channel because youtube has more power than you and your
subscribers altogether. Always inform your subscribers, we all hate plot twist on storylines but mostly we hate major changes.

Lastly only do it because you're a fan for it and nothing else. I know for a fact that people buy
things because they're a fan for that video game even i am a fan for many games. Thats why when people see you skipping the best part of the story they know you don't like the game, they know you just bought it for views. Its also important to never play games you hate because you will get threatening message from people that found out. lastly join clubs online that have the favorite games for you and maybe you can gain loyal subscribers for that favorite game (just don't mix them like cod and battlefield).

the end

good news everyone i put subtitles in so you know which one is the right thing to do. it took me 3 hours to type, 7 years of learning to figure it all out.

What? Did you just say thag we dont need good equipment? Without good equipment, you are most likely not going to succeed.

Here is my take on getting new subscribers. When you put out a video you're transmitting a message to the world. If that message is what people are looking for they will watch your video. If people like that messages you're putting out, they will subscribe.

***When I use the word "you" I'm not specifically pointing at YOU, but more in the generic sense. Don't take this as me bashing YOU specifically.****

Nobody is going to care if you are "unique" or "being you." As I've gotten older I've realized people just don't care about you. If you think about it I'm just another random human running round on Earth. I'm not much different than anyone else. The only thing people care about is the message. They only care about what you have to offer. If they like your stuff, they will watch it. It doesn't matter if you pretending to be someone else, being a robot, or whatever else you could be. It all comes down to the message and the message has to be clear with little noise.

For example, lets say I want to be entertained. Lets say I stumble upon Pewdiepie's channel. I watch a video and it makes me laugh, I received the message I wanted. If I watch a couple more and I'm still laughing, I'll subscribe. When he stops being funny or if his message changes enough to the point I don't want to hear it anymore, I'll unsubscribe. I'm not a fan of PewDiepie and he doesn't quite target my demographics. But when I objectively look at his stuff, I think he does very good at what he does and executes his message very well. I'm not surprised at all with the following that he has.

This also applies to other people you'll deal with in life. Recently I've been dealing with buying a car. For the most part, I don't care about car salesmen. I don't want to hear their life story or their sob stories. I don't care if there are being real or putting on an act. I listen to them because I want to buy car. The same thing applies with videos. People watch because there is something they want to get out of it.

I'm assuming you're a great person and all, but just because you like you doesn't mean other people will like you too. My advise is to put out content that people want to watch, but be original and/or better at it. If someone else is saying the same thing your saying but doing a better job at it, why would they bother watching your stuff?
