I Love YTtalk
This is where PewDiePie was November in 2010, it took him months to get 19 subscribers.
Now he is gains over 19 subscribers a minute and has over 30 million subscribers.

I know not everyone likes PewDiePie. But I just wanted to give some smaller YouTubers encouragement.
You never know what the future holds, just keep on making videos and see what happens.

And looking more past data here is a pattern I noticed about famous YouTubers. . .

They start with 0 subs scribers.
They work there way up to 1000.
In the about the same time it took them 1,000 they get to 20,000
In the same time took them to get to 20,000 to 1,000,000,000 (or more)

This isn't exact, but multiple famous YouTubers followed this pattern or something very close to it. Also, I found a few YouTubers that it took them longer to get from 0 to 100 then it took them to from 100 to 100,000 so never give up.

I have a googly ball who does stop motion videos (No promotion intented). A few of his subscribers felt the channel would grow popular.

Stuff like this could happen. You never know. :)

5 years ago I had one subscriber... I got another subscriber in 2012. Now I'm at a whopping 395 on a 7 year old channel, lol. I've watched one of Pewdiepie's videos and I wasn't impressed.

I'm not saying everyone will be like PewDiePie, but even he is surprised at what happened.

We all have to be very wary of big numbers - people are drawn to big numbers - it wouldn't be a shock to see Google stacking certain channels with inflated numbers (to lure viewers in).

Some kids are impressed by perceived popularity and will follow someone who is already known in their world, just to fit in. Like a strange online gang mentality has been created.

Not really a strange online mentality but life in general lol Pewds has come a long way since then and worked really hard. The strange thing is he isn't as popular as he used to be (this goes for other youtubers as well like Smosh, RWJ, and Jenna Marbles) and the reason comes down to the fact that there is so many other channels to choose from.

Smaller channels are having a bigger impact and people don't even realize it.

You post some really inspirational @CoolMoo5 for everyone thank you :) Something I heard @Symph mention once was that WeezyWaiter took around two years before he started seeing any results I believe he was at 100 subscribers after two years and look at him now. Another inspirational thing Symph also mentions is Colonel Sanders whos chicken recipe and plans were rejected 99 times before anyone would invest into it so it goes to show even with set backs and knockbacks to keep striving for your goals in life :)
