Watermark and Video Intro

BatteryAcid

That one crazy queer kid
Trust me to ask a rookie question but what software did/does everyone here use to create both their watermarks and their video intro/outro?

This is something that I keep meaning to get around to but have been putting off. I know the benefits of both of these things but am just struggling to create them my new old version of Adobe Photoshop Express and Magix Photo Designer 7.

Thank in advance guys and gals :D

I've used Adobe Illustrator for my logo/watermark and I made my intro and outro with Adobe After Effects.

Very very expensive software but if you have access to them it's definitely worth learning.
I use Photoshop or else MAGIX MOVIE EDIT PRO :D

For watemarks & outrocards I use Photoshop! I don't/can't make intros so I don't know what programs are the best

Photoshop looks like a must here then.
I'll shop around but it looks like I'll have to be depart from some moneys here :p

Yeah Photoshop is pretty expensive, although there is free alternatives like GIMP etc.. that do the trick just as well if you learn how to use them! I currently pay €10 a month for Photoshop but I believe the first month was free, I've only been using it since September too and have gotten pretty good with it so it's not overly difficult to learn (YouTube tutorials come in very handy :))

Not expensive if you're a student. Only like $20 a month.[DOUBLEPOST=1422545392,1422545111][/DOUBLEPOST]Not sure if people know, but if you're in school, you can pick up the Adobe Creative Cloud for $20 a month. It comes with various Adobe programs you can use.

The watermark I have on my videos is actually a piece of art I commissioned! My intro was made by my boyfriend in adobe (I think)

For watermarks and stuff I use Blender (http://www.blender.org) to add an alpha strip over my video. Blender is a free program, but it has a huge learning curve. It's mainly for 3D work but it has a video editing capability. It can also do outros with multiple videos with picture in picture. For overlays and stuff I'll use a combination of GIMP and inkscape, and then import that into Blender.

You're right there Dino, I had it back when I was a student.

I'm now lucky enough to get it all for free from work :P
