Watch Dogs Review Feedback?

Noir Proxy

I've Got It
I have been shifting my channel majorly towards video game reviews lately. I'm quite a perfectionist when it comes to review videos and generally these can take from 10 - 12 hours of editing.

This is my latest game review of Watch Dogs on PS4. The scoring system I use is measured in illustrated muffins (A running theme on my channel because I personally love muffins to death). The scores go Bronze, Silver, Gold and Mega when it comes to the muffins and the main reason for this is to remove the rather frowned upon metascore you find on sites like GT.com and IGN.

Still I would love to know what you think of my video. I put a lot of heart, enthusiasm and professionalism in these videos and it would mean a lot to get your opinions and feedback.

It feels like you've done this before, or you have a natural talent for it ^^

Maybe add some cue-cards or transition effects so people can skip to certain parts in the video? I know some people want to check specifically for one thing they're curious at times, and giving them control where to go in the video is rewarding in many ways, especially in view time.

Very interesting idea! So you mean use time stamps to navigate between each section of the review? Might have to try incorporating that.

I actually never did video reviews, or any form of confident presentation before I started doing Youtube. I used to be quite the scardy cat :3

It felt pretty professional watching the video from my perspective, you seem confident ^^

Time stamping/showing off interesting stops in your video lets people that lose interest, have a change to regain it back by checking out other sections of your video. But I'm sure you can incorporate it easy, disbarring how confusing my words can be at times :o

I liked it you change up your voice instead of being monotone and give a lot of info about the game it was a really good review keep doing what you do :)

Great review! I really like the muffin idea for scoring. Its unique to say the least :). Like fattman said, I think it would be a good idea to give the viewer some way that they could navigate to the specific parts of the review they want to see. For example you could use annotations, or just put it in the description or something like that. Sorry if this is just kind of repeating what fattman said. I've seen quite a few video game reviews and I have to say that your's was really good for something that was your first time, and might just be one of my favorites :)

I have done a few :) My Wolfenstein New Order review is easily my favorite. Dat intro :3 It was a proud moment for me.

I definately think I will be doing the navigation in the description. Shame that it will probably be hidden under the actual score bullet points that sit at the top but I can always give a note as an actual annotation.
