Hi everyone,

Im starting to write little scripts, but I can't produce them with just recording myself. I either need to know how to make special effects or make a whole animated series..

I tried a million times but I just can't do it, does anyone have some tips for me?
(I used a program called Anime Studio)

Like what program is best to use and /or how I should get started?

Thanks a lot!!!

i want to do some voiceover for animations as well since im an actor when my channel gets bigger most likely im gonna pay an animator to animate the series for me because ive wanted my own cartoon for a while now.

If only I had the money to pay someone to animate haha ;)
I would write and do some voices, but I can't do all of em.. haha if i can get an animator and get an episode done maybe you can do voice-over for me? :P

There are many different types of animation and each one has it's own learning curve and it's own set of challenges. Then for each type of animation there's different software or tools to animate with but each one is just as steep a learning curve as learning to animate.

Myself, I'm a 3D CGI Animator. Which (dummed down) involves selecting a characters 'limb' or 'bone' and moving it from one pose to another, then the program animates the 'in-between' poses.

2D Animation often has the same method or principle to it as 3D, in many 2D programs you can either draw your animation frame by frame, set up a similar 'bone structure' for a character you've made and then position you're character from one pose to the next and let the program solve the 'in-between' frames.

I've not heard of you're software before, but there are other popular programs for 2D animation such as Toon Boom and Adobe Flash.

Yeah the program i used also required to selecting bones and then it was able to move the character, I just couldn't get that to work! Had to call one the 'mother bone' so that one would stay in position etc.. Soooo difficult haha!

Gonna try 2D and try out Toon Boom, thanks for your advise! :)
