So Ive been thinking about this lately,
I do vlogs, and i was choosing over if I should do scripts or just say whatever the hell comes out to my mouth, I want to do scripted because more ideas will come and It would be better, but i also dont want scripted because i dont want to memorize stuff.. :/

Any tips? What should I do? :cold:

What I've found that works best for me personally is developing an outline for what I want to talk about. Write down my ideas and then write down any key jokes I would like to incorporate. Then I just go from there. Typically since it is fresh in my mind I only look at it at the very end to make sure I didn't miss anything. This way it is still unscripted, feels natural yet has structure.

That's what I find works best for me so you'll have to play around with different things and see what works best for you!

Yeah I agree with comments others have made, I'd write down points and then make sure I talk about those points. I personally don't like it when I can tell a vlog is scripted. But that's just me lol

Depends on the person I find some people do really well scripted and others work well off the top of their head. I'm somewhere in the middle. Keeping it generally script but in basically points I want to talk about and I just rant or improve the video.

It really depends on how interesting you are and if you can talk without a script without it becoming 'awkward'

Yeah, all I do is write down points. Everything else is done "live" on air. I couldn't even begin to write a serious script that I'd have to follow. I just wing it more often than not. :D

I script. I have done none scripted before but I found it easier to script because you know exactly what your going to say so you can film it quicker and you have less footage so editing is much quicker. If I didn't script I'm pretty sure I would forget to say something or forget to put in a certain joke.
