Vlogging Is Hard!!!

Loving YTtalk
So I recently started my vlogging channel, and I currently have 2 videos out. Now it seems like I have run into a dead end. The town I live in is VERY small, i'm talking less than 2,000 people in this town. So put two and two together, and there's not much to do here to where I could make daily vlogs, and right now i'm struggling to make weekly vlogs (which is my uploading goal). Every once in a while though I do go out of town and do fun things, and I am thinking about just vlogging those times along when something cool does happen where I live. I need your opinions, thanks!

Maybe stop thinking of cool things that happen that you can film, and think about cool things you can do in order to make a great video. Vlogging isn't just passively waiting for something interesting to happen or for somewhere interesting to go, but thinking about interesting things you can do or show to other people. So think about the vloggers you like, and how you can make content like that, or content that's different from that but makes you just as happy.

Trying to think where I could start. I work 5 days a week, just basically waiting to leave to boot camp. Don't exactly know my niche just yet.

I work 5 days a week too but I have figured out a good schedule. First I announced to all my connections on social media that I am releasing videos every Wednesday then I record on Saturday and edit in Sunday. I write ideas in my iPhone noted during the week.

I should probably start having better planning sessions!

Schedule 30 minutes for yourself just to brainstorm ideas. I find blocking if off in your calendar helps.

Your niche will come down to your passion.

That's one thing I do is ideas on my phone in my notes. I actually have a lot of work stories to tell, maybe I should do some of those! But the thing with my schedule is it's completely different every week. I'm still trying to figure out the upload schedule!

I heard a good tip recently to record a bunch of videos at once then edit down. Stories are great! Go for it!
