Vlogging in Public, Shame on You!

Trolololololol

Seriously less people care then you think, and the ones that do care must have nothing better to be doing anyway so f**k em

I just stopped giving a flying f**k what others think of me. I Vine and youtube a lot, stuff most people would'nt do because they'd be embaressed of people finding out. I vine and hopefully soon, will vlog in public too. Especially if i don't know the person, i have NO reason to censor myself. I get what you mean though. I don't like recording stuff when people are home just because I don't want to go through their questionaire on what I'm doing.

i watch vlogs too and people like kevinedwardsjrlife, and tjonesii said it gets easier with practice, so i guess it's either not giving a s**t, or practice lol[DOUBLEPOST=1372172678,1372172655][/DOUBLEPOST]
If I film in public, I make sure to talk really loud so everyone else feels just as awkward.

lmaoo i need to try that !!!

I'm not a shy person in real life, but there was one time I tried vlogging in public and I totally did the "quiet inside voice" thing haha. I don't know why I feel like I should feel awkward when I think most people in public don't really give a damn.

I've seen people vlog in public at conventions and such and I don't even bat an eye at them.

I kinda feed off the audience. I'm in theatre so I like to have people watching because it makes me feel more confident for some reason.

This brings me back to the 2010 days. When I used to shoot my old show, it was done in what was called a "community room" in the building we lived in. We didn't have a webcam back then either, so we had to use or video camera, and the person that shot our video was Dad. More often than not, Mom and my two brothers were behind him watching us record, and that just tore me to pieces. Not to mention, my two idiotic (I love those guys, but they're idiots. >_>) friends sitting next to me that didn't know a damn thing about our subject. So really, It was basically me doing everything on screen, with two bodies next to me, plus that mini audience of Mom and the brothers. It was horrible. That's why now, I wait until the late hours of night (and I mean LATE, 3AM sometimes), and I do things by myself. I've turned into a bit of a loner. v_V

I talk to my camera all the time. It's just something you have to get used to. Like, you have to get over the weird looks and all. That's really it though.... It's not all that bad, and it's really fun (in my opinion). And people can see what you actually do outside of your house and all that :D

This went from talking to onions in my local grocery store to using 2 bottles of coke and having an 'action figure' fight.

Talking to onions in a supermarket, that's pretty funny! What were peoples reactions? Were you by yourself?

Make yourself laugh first, loosen yourself up so you relax then just go for it when your in a good mood

I'd like to see a video on what you do BEFORE you film lol, sounds pretty entertaining :giggle:

This is hilarious!! Thanks for sharing

I vine and hopefully soon, will vlog in public too.

Sorry to sound naive but what is Vining?

Lol two bodies next to you! Don't worry about being a loner, you have us YTtalksrs. Do you think you will ever get over your fear?

Really enjoying everyone's posts, thanks for sharing.

Vlogging in public is weird for me. I'm a shy person and opinions of others can get in my head easily. I've started forcing my self to vlog in public but once the camera turns on and I start talking my alter ego comes out and I don't think about it. Most people don't care I find.
