"its just a jump to the left..."
So I just did a vlog. and noticed that I suck at vlogging while walking. how does one make the camera stay freakin still while vlogging on the move? I know it can be done (without one of those weird shoulder cam things) those just look weird. but I know iJustine and Joey vlog while on the move and their videos dont shake as much, do you hold the camera a certain way or what? please help

Possibilities could range from practice in holding the camera steady, hardware stabilizers (steadicam-like devices), or post production stabilization. Possibly all three.

I think Its in their cameras, get a camera with "Optical Stabilization" :)
I have a Canon a2400 it has the stabilization and doesnt look as shaky as normal

I also have the same troubles but sometimes it has to do with the camera itself. Some cameras have a non-shaky tool thing that automatically stops the footage from being shaky. :) I forgot what the tool was called.
STABILIZER! :D Just saw that in ThioJoe and KarLaurence's posts! ;)

Practice. Once you do it enough you know how to hold the camera still. I used to do daily and I'm pretty good at holding it still I think

When i start doing moving vlogs i plan to use a monopod to make it easier to keep it still

Most vloggers use cameras that have image stabilization built into either the body or the lens. If you get a camera with that it will help smooth out the video and make it easier for viewers to watch. If your camera does not have image stabilization or a weak one that distorts image I'd say avoid walking and talking, just focus on talking xD

as for the earlier comments you could definitely go steadicam or use editing software to stabilize it but that is just wayyyyyy too much work for a vlog lol.
