Vloggers. One take or snippets?

I Love YTtalk
I rarely do on-camera videos but when I do, I try to do it in one recording.
When I watch vloggers, there's a lot of snipping and cuts going on.
If this is you, do you keep stopping and starting when you know what you're going to say next or do you keep recording and just keep re-saying what you want until it sounds like you want?

I usually do my vlog videos with multiple takes. I'll record one sequence and stop recording, then record another sequence and so forth. In some of my videos, you could see me pushing the record button, lol.

ALWAYS snippets.
But I do comedy vlogs, so that pinpoint jump-cut timing (as well as saying a sentence the right way) is essential for the genre.
For more natural vlogs, less takes would work, probably.

I cut out any mistakes, ums, pauses, weird noises, Etc. I try to keep my sentences in one take. If I mess up, I restart the sentence. There's a lot of times I'll restart a segment multiple times until I've said it correctly.

I cut out anything unnecessary to keep the video flowing. I feel like a lot of one takes drag on. And the mistakes, ums, coughs, pauses, etc. Really bug me.

I try not to make my videos with a lot of jump cuts though, as I feel like it takes away from the quality of the video. I've seen people cut every couple of words and it's too sloppy.

I try to do it one. I just say the same thing like 10 times untill I like how I've said it.

I have started doing this in the audio for my lessons - If I stumble on what I'm saying or I just don't like my explanation for something, I'll pause 5 seconds and say it again until I get it right and then I edit out the fumbling when I'm editing. In some of my earlier videos, I just ploughed on regardless and the end result wasn't as good tbh.

I leave the camera rolling from start to finish and just cut out what i don't like (umm's, fumbled sentences etc). I work off a script though so there aren't many mistakes appart from the occasional sentence that can't seem to come out the way i want it to. Usually a 3 minute video on youtube was made up from about 10 minutes of recording, most of what i cut out is just me reading and thinking lol

I try my best to do it in one recording, mostly because my camera is lame and it would screw up the lighting to do multiple ones, but I will do several takes within a recording. It also helps a lot with editing in sony vegas for it to be one solid recording. If I feel like I need to completely restart though, I'll do a new recording.
