Vlog or Gaming?! I'm so confused....

So guys I've been feeling very confused lately. I don't know whether to make a vlog channel or a gaming channel.

Gaming Channel Pros:
Easy to make videos
Love playing videoganes
No need to doll myself up for videos =p
Easy to edit
Collabs!!!
Cheaper to make high quality videos

Cons:
I don't talk much while gaming, so making funny commentary is really difficult
I can't think of anything to play that is interesting enough to watch
There are already so many gaming channels. So I will hardly get any views
Youtube hates gaming channels...ALOT!
Have to upload almost everyday to keep people interested

Vlog channel pros:
Only have to do videos once a week
They are fun to make
They usually gain more views than gaming channels
Make people laugh easier than a gaming channel could

Cons:
Always have to come up with super fun ideas
Have to have some sort of script present to be funny
Videos have to be really high quality
Have to constantly doll myself up for the videos (no one wants to watch an ugly woman talk)
No collabs since I live so far away from most youtubers :(
More pressure to make good videos
More expensive to make good videos than gaming channel

Sorry that this is so long. I'm just so confuzzled :{

To be quite honest with you. Ditch the gaming idea. It's so over saturated now a days and so difficult to get consistent viewership. Vlogging on the other hand there are so many possibilities. Just because you don't think you're funny, doesn't mean others won't think that! Theres just way too many things you can do with vlogging, that you can't do with gaming now a days :) Just my opinion :)

I'm sure that everyone on the internet is dying to see another gamer. There just aren't enough already! :p

I'd go with vlogging if I were you. If you have an interesting personality, then that'll show in either, but too many people are already doing games and it runs more risks.

Personally, I'd do vlogging. And for the record, you can collab by recording a G+ Hangouts or by doing a Hangouts On Air. It's too difficult to succeed with a gaming channel, and vlogs will have a far wider appeal.

Not just hangouts, but there are plenty of way to do collabs with people who are not physically there!

Well, my other ideas which would involve vlogging would be filming seperately and then sending the links, making a video response (not like it used to be, but it's still a thing), or Skype (basically hangouts).

But overall, collabs are far easier as a gamer.

or....why do you have to choose....do both...or have two channels...you don't have to limit yourself to one category. :)

Yeah, filming separately works really well IMO. Look up Miss Fenderr on YT yt/missfenderr and check out her "F***, Marry, Kill" video with Ashley Mardell (2nd video) and it was really well done IMO.
