Looking to purchase a new vlogging camera.. Also something I can use to get great pictures with without having to lug around my 70D. Thinking either a Canon G7X or the Sony HX90V.. Opinions or suggestions?
 
Also, while we're all talking about cameras here, how is the image stabilization? I'm also looking to get a new vlogging camera, but I want to use it for sketches too

I dont personally own one but the footage I have seen looks amazing and the rx 100 typically gets great reviews
 
I love my GoPro for vlogging. There are better options but for me, it's portable, small, battery life lasts a while. I love it :P
 
Honestly, I recently bought my first camera/camcorder. I purchased the Canon HF R506. It records in 1080p and is all I ever hoped to get (at the moment) hardware wise.
It does the job and does it with good quality! :D
 
I use the canon t5i but if I had the money I would get a Sony mark 4. The 4K is awesome and af I've seen top vloggers have makes it my next pick. I mean after I bought a new 360 camera.

I am not sure what your budget is but I would second Godofchugs and recommend GoPro. These are really portable as compared with your big 70D and have good battery life. You can have a look what their video looks like on youtube. Believe me, it looks great.
