Virool: Does it Really Work?

There are over 1.5 million videos uploaded to YouTube every single day. 95% of the videos have less than a th-SKIPPED, b***h!!

So after like the 18th Virool ad I've seen today, I'm wondering if this kind of thing actually works? Now, I have absolutely no intention of using its services. This is literally a case of I'm genuinely interested in others' testimonials. I'm seeing more and more companies such as Virool, PushViews, and there was one about a rocket (but I can't remember it's actual name - strong advertising there then) but I have serious doubts that anyone has a positive experience from them.

After a quick Googley search, it looks like Virool have been fined millions of dollars and been disaccredited by whatever marketing bureau it was that accredited them in the first place. So how the hell are they still around and advertising on every flippin' video on YouTube?

As far as I can tell, it looks like they very quickly get you a lot of views by embedding your video onto spam pages and ad sites. This means you'll be spending your budget (I'm assuming about $100 minimum) to get views with an almost zero click-through rate. So why would people actually use the service?? Hopes of a 'get-famous-quick' deal, false expectations... desperation??

I'm actually genuinely interested to see if anyone here has used the likes of Virool, or similar. Again, I won't be using them myself, but I want to see if anyone here actually has, and what you thought of the service?

all i've ever heard about Virool is that its very expensive. It probably feeds off people who want to get big quickly more than anything.
 
I remember there was an old member who tried out Virool to check it's authenticity. She gained a heap of views, but none of them became subscribers or even left a comment..

I'm assuming that Virool is just an extremely pricey botting service with a fancy front. Don't waste your money or time with it. :)
 
I want to clarify, I have absolutely no intention on using Virool or anything like that. My channel barely has 150 subscribers and I don't have the time to absolutely focus on it, so the last thing I'm going to do is spend my money on a redundant advertising service. I was just interested to see if anyone here had used it, and to what extent they were satisfied, seeing as how people here tend to be relatively honest and there's a large pool of people.
 
Yes it's legit, but most of the views (even when you untick this option) come from people forced to watch videos to gain points in Facebook games meaning the CTR (the % that click on it to like or leave a comment) is very low, usually at 2-5%.

It's not really meant for your average creators, more-so for a viral marketting campaign with a $10,000-100,000+ budget.
It tends to cost about $1 for every 200 page views which equals about 10 video views.

From previous experience, $200 got me 14,500 page views, 2,750 video views and 150 clicks.
The video got 17 likes, 4 comments and the channel gained 4 subs.
