I would just base it on sub count and average views per videos.

Let's say
Subscribers :100
Average views : 50

4K views on one video you uploaded I would considered viral.

Just my opinion.
 
No, viral doesn't necessarily mean view count. Viral is based on the amount of shares in a short amount of time. One of my animation shorts on my animation channel has a view count of up to 250K and still rising. It never went viral because it never got that rapid share on social media. Do you understand what I mean?

Exactly. A viral video will be spreading virally - as people see it on social media, they keep sharing it. I often hear people describing their 500 view video as having gone viral, and I can't help but wonder how many people really shared it?
