Viral Video Ideas !

Yeah I had seen that, that was well thought off and fun... something like that.. yes, but at our level we can't produce them...

Yup, everyone waits for that 1 viral video that can give you the boost or encouragement for making more and more videos. Few month back even I used to get about 100views/daily and upload about 1 video/month but then my temple run video came and gave me 85,000 views! That point of time I was getting unexpectedly high views and incomes . It's dead now but it really gave me that boost I required and I get like 700-1200 views/ daily and upload lots more video than I used to. It's more like a story how may channel came into existence.

Actually I would disagree with that. Something that can be reproduced easily will be mimicked and imitated, like Harlem Shake videos.

Viral on YouTube, people always focus on the positives, doing something hilarious and cute or amazing. Few try to bank on the infamous factor. Videos that have 1M dislikes, are arguably doing better than a video with 100k likes.

You have to bank on catching the attention and eliciting a certain emotion, then taking it to an extreme where the viewer will not expect to see and will want to share with others so that they can confirm those feelings are true.

That's my psychological analysis anyways haha.
 
Can someone 'Define' what's a Viral Video first?
I mean, the minimum number of views and the time range to get that, or some other aspects... by which we can say this is a Viral video...

When I said Viral, the top number that came to my mind is 100,00 :) that's all, and I am pretty sure, a vid with that kind of quick views will draw a lot of attention to my channel and build a brand for me...
I certainly was not thinking on the Harlem shake line or the Gangnam style....

I just finished watching the Coke and Mint guys video on making Viral videos :(
And looking at their track record, they not only plan, but execute it successfully.... and looks like they are the only 'Wholesalers' of Viral Videos on net.
