Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone can help me figure out why my views are going down. I am doing everything exactly the same as before. Also, I took a break for two months, but even while I was away, I was getting higher views than now. I went form 1300 views / 48 hrs to 300 views / 48 hrs.

What do you guys do to get more views?

Well, what i do is try to be more social. Like ill go to other peoples videos and ill watch them, then ill leave a comment. and NOT a comment saying 'go check out my channel'. Thats a big no no. just leave a comment that people will laugh at or something and maybe they'll go check out your channel! Good luck! :D

You took a break for two months. It makes sense that your older videos would be generating more views, since they already had some views, people already knew about the videos, and the youtube algorithm tends to snowball things a bit. For your newer videos, you have to rely more on your subscribers tuning in and watching them before they start picking up speed and getting placed higher in searches.

Of course, this is just speculation! I'm not able to check out your channel and look at things right now.

For getting more views, I work on SEO and share my videos on social media.
 
Okay good tips guys. Currently I use tubebuddy to figure out what might be good keywords for tags. I then try to work in those keywords and tags into title and descriptions.

How do you guys set good tags titles and descriptions?

Also, I think something very strange is going on. My views are falling like flies across the board. I think that should happen to one video or two if its SEO related. But its happening to all videos. Even the new videos I publish aren't getting the views pervious videos used to get in the first 48 hours.

I mean how can I go from setting tags titles and descriptions which would get me 1000 views in about 7 days to like under 300 views in 7 days.

Please help y'all :)
 
Looking at your video view counts, they seem to vary wildly all the time. The more name brand (Marvel, Disney, etc.) seem to do much better, and your more recent ones only seem to contain a couple of those. So I think it's just getting back to more recognizable toy lines that can bring more folks to your channel as you're getting back into the swing of things. You've done a lot of collections of dinosaurs and such, but maybe some action heroes or Disney toys that are sure-fire winners would be in order for the next round of videos?

Yeah I will try that. I thought making videos on dinosaur and stuff would get me into a more narrow market than the mainstream toys market. However, perhaps I should have a mix of popular and niche market items.

Although I do still feel in my heart that, previously no matter what videos I used to publish, within 7 days all of my subs would have watched the video. Now I feel like only 30% of watch the stuff. I wish there was a way I could reach out to them and let them know I BACK and here to stay.[DOUBLEPOST=1467945702,1467907663][/DOUBLEPOST]Hey guys,

Something strange just happened. One of recent videos had about 200 views. Now it went down to 32.. Why would this happen? Perhaps in this situation that will explain whats been going on.
