Is YouTube more inclined to show your vids in the same time zone of where you live? The reason I ask is because I noticed that our views pick up at around 2 pm and die down around 8 pm which would coincide with the time kids get out of school and when they head off to bed in my time zone......so does anyone else have a pattern in their views.......

It depends on your traffic sources and the geographical location of your targeted subscribers/viewers. If the percentage of subscribers mostly come from your country, then that is coincide with the kids free time (2-8 pm). However, if your traffic sources mostly come from the search engines, then this seems that YouTube inclined to show your videos in the same time zone which i dont think so. You may need to target subscribers from different geographical location with different time zones.

25% of my viewership is US
4% is UK. I am in UK.
My videos start to pick up at around 4pm GMT and peak at around 8pm GMT before dropping off. Its a regular daily rollacoaster.
