Views but not likes or subs gained?

Not sure if this is a thing that everyone seems to suffer from or not, but thought I'd ask to see what the consensus is. I've recently uploaded my first epidode of Fallout 4 to my channel. Now I know that a lot of people will be doing this as well, but i've managed to get nearly 200 views already! My highest viewed video on my channel so far. But i've noticed that I haven't got many likes from it, or seen many others subscribe to my channel because of it. Is this normal? Does it mean my let's play is a load of rubbish?
 
Check your retention time on the video if it is very low then people must of clicked on and clicked off the video hence so ratings and so on.

I can't quite yet, I have to wait 2-3 days before the results are shown. But I guess most people are clicking on, seeing how rubbish I am, then clicking off! Haha, oh well. Life goes on :)
 
Im having a similar issue but im getting likes and retention but im pretty much begging for comments/Criticism of my videos and no one will comment. I know im no were close to pefect and would love the interaction rather than likes.
 
these might be a lot of people that just searched for the new game to see a little gameplay before they decide to buy it or not. they might not be really into youtube at all, or even looking for entertainment, just gameplay

That's a very very good point actually! Maybe they were hoping for just some actual gameplay and not some stupid bloke with glasses playing it :D haha[DOUBLEPOST=1447407532,1447407502][/DOUBLEPOST]

you never know though, might be able to hook some new viewers and get them to stay for more.

I didn't mean it like that haha it wasn't a dig, lets plays are very hard to hold retention for a long period of time.

perhaps do some funny little highlight videos as well to back up lets plays.

But reading your comments on the video you received a few nice ones and gained a sub
 
How long are your videos, and check out retention time, encourage people to like sub and share, also make a playlist so they know you have more videos of this type :)
