View counts start great, then crash

I've made 460 videos without this happening. But on some of my recent videos, the views start out better than ever (30 in first hour). But then it slows faster than I've ever seen: 3rd hour=50, 6th our = 58. Next day = 65

It went from 'best ever' to a fail-video. My thumbs, titles & video quality gets better, while my views get lower. For years I keep thinking there's a tech problem.

Does anyone have any guesses or insight?
