View Count Low considering

Like many have said here, yeah as far as content, you are doing the right thing, and it's just luck, especially in a very saturated part of YouTube (no offense to the people that do gaming videos)... My suggestion would be just to make the videos on your own pace, changing up content a little and experiment a bit, and just promote as much as possible; maybe collaborating when given the chance. Finally, time will tell since most people who get up there often have been doing it for many years before anything significant happens.

It's so dependent on luck it's crazy. Yeah you can be a pro tagger and make sure your SEO is really high, but a lot of people know how to do it now and it's harder to get that initial view base to make you more searchable.

For me it's a lot of timing. In the gaming world I imagine it's following the news and releasing a relevant video when there's a really hot button topic, like PAX and stuff.

Yea, with gaming there is so many variables and so many types of gaming channels from reviews all the way to Let's Plays and Play throughs.. all over the place!

I'am not very good at the SEO thing because I don't really understand it yet, so I am not sure lol.

I said it before and I'll say it again, you could have THE best video ever made on YouTube, and that does not guaranty views. There is luck involved. Just keeping doing it for the love of it, and with time, views and subs will come, and perhaps eventually even go viral-ish
