VidIQ

Loving YTtalk
ITs similar to Tube buddy. It is a chrome extension. But when you click on a video to watch, it shows you all if the tags they used, it shows you a breakdown of that videos stats, it's much more seamless than tube buddy.

Just my 2 cents.

I use it myself, it's pretty useful. I'm still trying to figure out some of the bells and whistles with it myself.

I don't even get that much of it to be honest. I'm not too sure yet why I have both VIDIQ and TubeBuddy considering both don't do much for me, anyways.

Yeah, it isn't really a game changer. I really like being able to look at some channels and see what tags they used. This is a good way to learn SEO if you don't yet understand it. You might see trends and similarities between channels. Or you might realize that person has no idea what they are doing.

Yeah, so far that's the only benefit I get from VIDIQ. And even then, most of the time I just use Keyword Planner and things like that. Only when I really can't think of anything do I use other people's tags relevant to my videos.

I used it primarily for the bulk annotations. TubeBuddy requires you to pay to get bulk annotations (you can only do it for 1 video at a time), VidIQ does it for free for multiple videos, and I bulk upload so it makes it much easier for me to just copy the annotation from 1 video to multiple others, same for cards. I do use the tag system for some minor SEO research but that's minor, none of these plug ins really offer anything else of use to me so I only need VidIQ. I did use TubeBuddy at some point primarily cause it worked on Firefox, but I don't mind having to pop into chrome every once in a while just to copy some annotations for free. lol

I just wish both were available on the same browser. I have safari open w/ tube buddy and chrome w/ vidiq

Same I want VidIQ to come to Firefox but Mozilla have just been screwing people with their security, even Enhanced Steam stopped developing for Firefox cause they just couldn't be bothered updating their code every time Mozilla made a minor change that made the add ons stop working due to being "vulnerable". If Chrome had all the same features that I use on Firefox, I'd switch in a heartbeat.

Well I use both VidIQ and tubebuddy on chrome and I think they are both useful. As the others said the bulk annotation copy offered by vidiq is good, like all the stats shown next to every video you see. But i think that VidIQ keyword value calculator is worse than tubebuddy because I noticed that a keyword considered good or very good from tubebuddy it's considered as average from VidIQ and I think tubebuddy is more accurate (i guess).
I think that you can have both and use them for various purposes.
