VIDIQ Question

I am uploading a video today and wanted to make a special effort with the SEO, so I'm using the VidIQ tool.

As the video is uploading I notice that I rank 5/5 for tag count, 5/5 for keywords in title, but 0/5 for keywords in description, and 0/5 for tripled keywords (that I understand to be keywords that are used in the title, description, and tags).

Does anybody know how this is possible, and what I may be doing wrong? As an experiment I copied and pasted the title into the description and also the tags, but still I scored 0/5 for keywords in description and tripled keywords.

Any pointers in the right direction would be most appreciated!

So from my understanding keywords in the description is focused on your keyword compatibility with the relevance of your descriptions to your tags to your title. When all three are completed you gain points within the triple keyword. I wouldn't copy and paste because I don't know if vidIQ can register it (not to sure). I would focus on making your first two sentences in your description naturally include the keywords you're focusing on.

Thanks. I did wonder if VIDIQ did not recognise text that had been copied and pasted. I've posted the video now and it's gaining traction reasonably well (about 200 views in the first 4 hours). It sure is a learning curve this youtube business!

Oh boy is it ever. But VidIQ is a great tool that keeps improving and it helps me when it comes to tags and viewing other you tubers meta data.

Update: Now that the video has been published VIDIQ shows a 5/5 rating both for triple keywords and for keywords in the description. I deleted the copied and pasted tags before I published the video.
Very odd...
